New Powder Road Trip

The concept of the Road Trip is an old one but a good one. It embraces the freedom to ski the very best on any given day. We tap into over 34 years of skiing and guiding in Hokkaido, as well as our network of local contacts to pick the very best skiing each and every day. Transport is via private 4WD mini bus giving us complete autonomy.

On this ultimate Hokkaido ski journey our guides take you to central Hokkaido’s premier resorts, inlcuding Furano, Kamui, Tomamu & Asahi Dake with options to ski and explore other less visited and/or backcountry destinations such as the Tokachi Mountains. For more information  on these areas, visit our Locations page. 

Tour Tips

Tip # 1: We recommend modern Alpine Touring (AT) gear for this tour. This way you can use the same kit for either on or off piste skiing, and if you are new to AT skis and bindings, you have the bonus of learning how to use AT skis and associated equipment. (skins, beacon, etc).
Tip # 2: Book flights that will arrive in Chitose or Asahikawa airport by about midday on day one of your tour. For your departure day, dont book a departure flight any earlier than about 1:00 pm.
