Tech binding (AT): We have a brand new tech level rental range. This is a combinatoon of the new G3 ION tech binding, matched with the superb Rossignol Soul 7. Available in a range of sizes.
Premium alpine touring (AT): New season and lightweight combo to help you eat up those metres of climbing in the backcountry. We have combined the light weight Kastle TX107 with lightweight Tyrolia Ambition bindings.
Standard alpine touring (AT): Tried and true Black Diamond powder skis such as the superb all round Amperage and others. This combined with Marker F10 and Markr Barron AT bindings make for a great backcountry kit.
Telemark: We have the most comprehensive range of telemark skis and boots available for rental in Japan. Over thirty sets of Black Diamond Powder and combo skis to choose from. Most fitted with Black Diamond 01 pivot telmark bindings.
Nordic (XC) classic sets: New for 2015 is a large range of lightweight classic track skis featuring Madshus Trysyl skis, combined with Rottefella track bindings and lightweight Madshus CT 120 & 150 track boots. Take a break from the lifts and enjoy the cut tracks nearby or the superb rolling ski course at Asahi Dake.
Avalanche safety equipment: beacons, shovels, probes & avalung packs: Add to your own backcountry safety be ensuring you use this state of the art equipment.
Beacon training: This equipment is no good if you dont know how to use it! We offer 1 hour training sessions near our shop at Kittanomine village. Cost is ¥4000 for 1 hour maximum 6 people. Come to our shop to arrange one of these important training sessions and pick our guides brains while you are there!
snow shoes with heel riser: New for 2015 is a stock of TSL Rando 226 snow shoes with built in heel risers. Great for use by snow boarders getting out the back. The heel riser reduces pressure on your achilles as you climb and allows you to climb steeper terrain with more comfort.
Ski delivery service express courier This service is available anywhere in Hokkaido. The delivery service requries at least three working days notice to ensure delivery on time at your location. This service is free for those hiring for 4 or more days. For shorter hires, the delivery fee is ¥2500 each way.
Please note that you can only use this service if you can adjust your own boots to the bindings, whether Alpine Touring or telemark.
Ski delivery service by shop staff We are happy to provide this service to groups in the central Hokkaido area. Our shop technician can then ensure all boots and skis are correctly fitted to your needs. Subject to availability. This service is available in the niseko area thorugh our partner shop, Harro Snowsprots at Niseko Hirafu village. Contact us for details.
